#010 - Cardinal

Description

Cardinal the llama was not your average, run-of-the-mill camelid. No, Cardinal was special. You see, he was born with a striking red coat that resembled the robes of a Catholic cardinal. His mother, a spunky llama named Rosalinda, knew he was destined for greatness. As a young cria, Cardinal had a bit of a mischievous streak. He loved nothing more than sneaking up on his pasture mates and spitting at them when they least expected it. But despite his naughty behavior, everyone couldn't help but love him - after all, who could resist that adorable red coat? One day, Cardinal decided he wanted to see the world beyond the farm. He snuck out of his pasture and wandered into town, where he quickly became a celebrity. People flocked to take selfies with the "Cardinal llama", and he even made an appearance on the local news. But fame wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Cardinal soon discovered that being a celebrity llama came with a lot of responsibility. He was constantly hounded by paparazzi (or should we say "llamarazzi"?), and he couldn't even go to the grocery store without causing a commotion. So Cardinal decided to retire from the limelight and return to his humble life on the farm. He still enjoys the occasional spitball fight with his pasture mates, but he's learned that sometimes it's best to just blend in with the herd.
