#042 - Wonder

Wonder the Llama was born with an incredible power - the ability to shoot laser beams out of her eyes! Well, not really, but that's what her owner, a mad scientist named Dr. Doollama, liked to tell people. In reality, Wonder was just a regular llama with a penchant for mischief. She loved nothing more than sneaking up on unsuspecting humans and spitting in their faces. Dr. Doollama, however, was convinced that Wonder was a genetically modified super-llama, and he spent all his time trying to unlock her hidden powers. He tried feeding her strange concoctions of grass and hay, exposing her to strange electrical currents, and even playing classical music at her. But no matter what he did, Wonder remained a regular, albeit particularly ornery, llama. One day, Dr. Doollama decided to enter Wonder into a local talent show, convinced that she would wow the judges with her incredible abilities. Wonder, of course, had other ideas. As soon as the spotlight shone on her, she let out a massive spitball that hit the judge right in the face. The audience erupted in laughter, and Wonder was declared the winner. From then on, Wonder was known as the spitting llama sensation. She went on to perform at talent shows all around the country, spitting on judges and audiences alike. And even though she never developed any real superpowers, she remained a wonder to all who knew her.
